Congratulations to Torsten Fock for winning the second place at the german contest ‘Newcomer Award’ sponsored by gamesload. This contest was especially for new or indie game developers during the german development award (Deutscher Entwicklerpreis). He won with his game ‘Messing Moves’ a gamestudio project , where you have to load all your belongings from your house into a big truck. Its a physics game if i’m not mistaken. Its nice to see someone using the 3DGS engine finish this high with lots of competition! The other teams that won, are big teams with at least 4 members - so Torsten can now make a big relaxation holiday with his 3000€ price and have all the cool drinks for himself and his girlfriend. Congratulations to Angelas World from Sven for the second place at the Casual Game Contest. I’m proud, that my game “Utz Wollewutz” could finish with the first place in a field of 30 participants

The Casual Game Contest is now up and running, you can vote for the best of 30 Demos until the 20.04.07. Be shure to download them all at Acknex Unlimited and look what you think should win. Its really worth the time. Because i participate too with my entry Utz Wollewutz i wont go into detail or tell you good/bad things about other entries - you have to find out for yourself.
