New Acknex Users Magazine online for download

Hey there, i especially like the days when a posting in the acknex users magazine forum at the gamestudio board starts with the words:

Dear friends, The new magazine is ready…

That means George has finished another episode of the fantastic users magazine. This time you will find the following in issue #69

- Who is afraid of lite-C? Read the “lite-C 101″ section of the magazine and you’ll learn more about Acknex’s programming language
- The menu code is fully finished and wrapped around a simple and (hopefully) fun game
- The great user contribution comes from Taco Cohen and JCL - it’s the new shader tutorial, packed with fully working shader examples
- IntenseX, the best AI package for GameStudio, is in the spotlight once again. Find out more about it, and then take a look at the screenshots or (even better) watch the fresh, never seen before movie that walks us through some of its most important features

Normalmapping Shader with 6 Light Sources

normalmapping shader screenshotBloodline has changed Matt’s Normalmapping Shader a little bit, now it supports 6 light sources with shader model 2.0.

Slin has tested the whole thing and that looks like on the left. He also states that its pretty fast…

Just have a look at the thread for the code, that probably will be changed again some time for the better. Good work!
